Information on the use of an electronic surveillance system installed on the premises of the accommodation

2. We inform you that the service provider – as data controller – asset protection uses an electronic surveillance system for this purpose, which allows direct observation, image recording and storage.  The cameras operating at the service provider's accommodations are aimed at the following areas:

Rooms monitored by camera:

1.  Monitoring the main entrance (gate) of the house.

The scope of the data processed: facial images of guests and other affected persons caught in the cameras' field of view, without voice or other personal data.

The camera system operates 24 hours a day.

We inform you that the recording of images and audio recordings for the operation of the electronic surveillance system is carried out on the basis of express consent pursuant to Section 30 (2) of the Szvtv., for the purpose of proving violations of law in order to protect property, as detailed below. We draw your attention to the fact that it is considered as express consent to data processing if you are in the area monitored by the camera with knowledge of this information.

3. Legal basis for this data processing: the enforcement of the legitimate interests of the data controller.

4. Storage time: The recorded recordings may be retained for a maximum of 30 (thirty) working days if not used. Use is considered to be when the recorded image and other personal data are intended to be used as evidence in court or other official proceedings.

5. Storage location: the registered office of the data controller.

6. Those entitled to view the recording are: In addition to those authorized by law, accommodation operators are entitled to view the data recorded by the electronic surveillance system for the purpose of detecting violations and monitoring the operation of the system.

7. Data security measures:

Data transfer is only possible if proceedings are underway for illegal conduct or breach of obligations, and only to the authorities or courts conducting the proceedings. The data transferred may include recordings made by the camera system containing relevant information, as well as the names of persons who may appear in the recordings.

8. Information about the rights of the data subject and how to exercise them

The person whose rights or legitimate interests are affected by the recording of image, sound, or image and sound recording data may, within three working days of the recording being made, request the data controller to destroy or not destroy the data, by proving their rights or legitimate interests.
